Many have commented
that the flights which crashed into the WTC, seemed to have done
so without much of a fight. In the past, hijackers have ordered
flights to land in a new location and then proceeded to negotiate
with a government. Passengers are saved by an external authority
figure. Never before had we seen a hijacked plane used as a weapon.
Note that Neptune is in Aquarius, the sign which rules new forms
of radicalism and revolutionary behavior. I believe the passengers
and crew on AA11 and UA175 were relying on the old model of hijacking,
and felt putting up a fight might not in the long run, be in their
best interests. The placement of Neptune in the 4th house which
represents traditional cultural and "family system" behaviors,
(hijackers and their hostages become a family system) shows that
the crew and passengers of these flights clung to their hope of survival based on faith in an old set of rules for hijacking
airplanes. They were in a total state of denial as to the
reality of their situation.
As to the hijackers
on these flights, they must have kept their intentions to themselves.
Neptune placed in the 4th house of a natal chart, often signals
a person who's childhood was strongly influenced by a deeply religious
or alcoholic family. As a group, the hijackers were blinded by their faith in deluded terrorist leaders, who espouse
twisted religious beliefs that call for martyring oneself to God
through violent, revolutionary acts.
In all four charts,
Neptune is in a Yod configuration with Jupiter (luck) in Cancer
(the nurturer) and Pluto (power and personal transformation) in
Sagittarius (our higher will). Jupiter resides in the 9th or 10th
house, both of which rule nations and their people. Pluto resides
in the 2nd house which rules action to ensure one's survival. Yods
hold the potential for greatness and power, but usually are experienced
as frustration borne from a constant search for answers. The
placement of Neptune in the 4th house which created a state of denial
in passengers on AA11 and UA175, frustrated the potential use of
personal power.
As for the
other two flights, UA93 and AA77, Neptune resides in the 5th house
which rules creatively actualizing personal vision and leadership.
The 5th house also rules using the physical body, and represents
one's progeny. These passengers clearly behaved differently.
They broke the rules, pulled out cell phones, contacted their families
who alerted them to the reality of their fate. The hijacker's intentions
were out in the open. At this point the influence of Neptune
in Aquarius transforms itself from denial and confusion, to an inspirational
force that calls for leadership and effective use of personal power
for the good of humanity. These passengers were able to harness
the power of the Neptune/Jupiter/Pluto Yod. They searched for an
answer and got it quickly: it is our job to sacrifice (Neptune)
our lives to save thousands of other lives.
We don't know
how the hijackers behaved in this situation, but I would guess that
the Neptune placement in the 5th was their downfall. This may have
caused them to boast of their compatriots' success, assume they
would also be triumphant and let their egos get in the way of caution.
So what can we
learn from this interpretation? It is critical to realize that human
beings have free will and yet planetary placements can seriously
effect situational influences on human behavior. Astrology is best
used as a tool to understand planetary placements and their help
or hindrance in any given situation. In
the end, we are all accountable for our actions no matter the planets
may or may not portend.
